I am moving to Seattle to start an exciting new job (stay tuned for details).
My last day in New York will be Sunday 19 March. I have loved living here for the past three and a half years, and I’m certain that I’ll miss it dearly. New York is a special place, and I consider myself very privileged to have lived here twice, as a college student from 1999 to 2003 and then again as an adult from 2013 to 2017.
It’s important to me that a new tenant sign a lease and move into the apartment ASAP, because I have to continue paying rent until that happens (plus a $500 fee to terminate my lease early, plus I have to continue paying the difference if someone rents it for less than I was paying). If you know anybody who might like an insanely large one bedroom apartment in a fantastic neighborhood, please share the posts above with him or her!
My new neighborhood in Seattle is called Belltown. I’ll be pretty close to the Pike Place Market, and to the waterfront, and to the Space Needle, so I anticipate many long walks with Sharav and many photographs of Puget Sound.
I hope that you’ll consider visiting me in Seattle, or at least that you’ll let me know when you’re coming to the area for some other purpose. I know almost nobody in the Pacific Northwest, so it would be great to see some familiar faces.
Whether you visit or not, would you consider sending me a postcard from wherever you are in the world? My new address is on my Facebook, but if you don’t use Facebook, just fill out the form below to get in touch and I’ll email it to you.
Also, please be sure to leave me your address, so I can send you a postcard!
